After more than seven years of marriage, Michael Darby and Ashley Darby of the Real Housewives of Potomac announced their divorce on Tuesday.
People claim that “inconsistencies inside the relationship” and “trust concerns” led to the reality TV star’s split from her spouse.
Likewise, an insider revealed, that the couple had been having major issues for over a year. Michael, a real estate developer who owns the building of his family residence, had also moved out a while ago due to their growing problems.
Similarly, RHOP star Ashley Darby confirmed her split from Michael in a statement to The Daily Dish on Tuesday.
‘When Michael and I said “I do” about eight years ago, we expected to spend every day together from that point forward,’ Ashley said. ‘Unfortunately, that is not the case right now. We’ve decided to separate.
‘We are now both at very different stages in our lives and have different goals for our futures. We both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that we cannot do this together,‘ she went on.
Ashley stated, ‘While our romantic connection is finished, we will always love and respect one another.’ ‘We also recognize that true happiness can only be achieved by working together and devoting our hearts and brains to raising our two great kids, Dean and Dylan.‘
Dean Michael Darby and Dylan Matthew Darby, the couple’s kids, were born in May of 2014.
Likewise, The fans of the show were not surprised. When Ashley revealed her and Michael’s breakup in a statement to Bravo’s Daily Dish. From the start, the marriage has had issues, including a significant age gap, cultural barriers, and, of course, adultery.
