Although, Nikocado typically only shows him eating a lot of food in his videos, but his “We Broke Up” video from January 25 has a depressing mood. The YouTuber claimed that after the Stephanie Soo controversy, the internet and the YouTube community turned against him, which made his husband question whether or not their marriage was still strong.
“Orlin was the only good and pure thing that had happened in my life. People say he’s controlling, or that I’m controlling… or that he’s some evil person because he loves me, and people are trying to convince him to divorce me. All of your comments over the last month have gotten into his head, and he is questioning us as a couple, “he stated. “And it’s because of YouTube.”

According to Nikocado, the drama prompted Orlin to deactivate his social media accounts.
Nikocado also stated that Orlin texted him right before filming the video to inform him that he would stay with his father for a few weeks.
Orlin realized how much his husband had changed after posting a video comparing Nikocado’s early vlogging days to his recent videos. Nikocado claims that this was when he decided to leave.
When Nikocado recalled one of the last things Orlin said to him, it was one of the most heartbreaking moments in the video. “You’re not the man I married,” Orlin had told him.
“Don’t talk to me unless you’re signing the divorce papers,” Orlin allegedly told Nikocado shortly before leaving.

On Nikocado’s channel in 2016, Orlin published a video detailing how the two initially met. Orlin claims that the two first connected in a Facebook forum several years prior when Nikocado sought guidance on how to live a vegan lifestyle.
Before meeting up in person in New York, the two communicated via Facebook for several months.

The pals eventually became boyfriends after spending a lot of time and traveling together.
After more than three years of dating and one year in a relationship, the couple was married in 2017.
