Things are just about to get weird in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The release of a 30-second teaser by Marvel yesterday confirmed some huge plot twists in the long-awaited Doctor Strange movie.
Almost 4 months after the trailer for Dr.Strange-Multiverse of Madness was released, Marvel has given their fans a glimpse into the new Dr.Strange movie that is set to hit the theaters this Friday.
Starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead, Dr. Strange’s second installment is nothing short of a mind-bending feature that will definitely sweep you off your feet.

Who else appears in Multiverse of Madness?
There’s no need to mention that British actor Cumberbatch will be once again the face of the movie that is releasing this May. Along with him is Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Chiwetel Ejiofor as their archnemesis Karl Mordo.
Dr. Strange-Multivers of Madness is the second installment in Marvel’s Dr.Strange franchise and is set to be nothing short of an action-packed feature exceeding the audience’s anticipation.

Marvel gave us a glimpse into the movie as a post-credit scene in the Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, in the short clip, Wanda is seen apologizing to Dr. Strange for wreaking havoc on the innocent civilians of Westview in a desperate attempt to save her husband, Vision.
Vision was initially destroyed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War but was brought back to life by Wanda, who uses her magick to simulate reality to keep Vision alive.
The teaser also gives a hint that Dr. Strange will be accompanied by his sidekick Wong and Mordo as well. In addition, a new face to appear is Xochitl Gomez, who plays America Chavez.

What is the Doctor Strange teaser all about?
However, in the teaser, Dr. Strange is seen lending Wanda a hand and offering to team up to take control of the multiverse and bring back sanity to the world.
“The Multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little,” says Dr. Strange in the teaser.
“It was the only way, but I never meant for any of this to happen.”
The teaser also goes on to explore anomalies in the multiverse, including a glimpse into a sinister version of Dr. Strange. Fans are waiting patiently to see everything unfold when the movie hits their screen on May 6, 2022.
Also, fans of Marvel+ series WandaVision and Loki, too, are excited about the movie. People are anticipating that the ‘God of Mischief’ will make an appearance in the film, adding another interesting twist to the entire story.

X-Men join forces with Doctor Strange
What comes off as a major overhaul is the introduction of the X-Men in the Multiverse of Madness. Those who have been keeping an eye on Marvel’s Phase 4 films and tv series projects know that the X-Men are definitely coming back.

However, it seemed unclear as to where and how they would connect in the current set of stories. However, with the release of the teaser for Multiverse of Madness, it has been all but confirmed that they could be back in the new Dr. Strange movie.
Not to mention, professor Xavier is set to feature alongside Dr. Strange, Wanda, and probably Loki as well.
Production of Dr.Strange Multiverse of Madness
Doctor Strange co-writer C. Robert Cargill said in April 2016 that Marvel Studios had scratched up some fascinating ideas about the character’s development. Nonetheless, one of the most exotic characters in the entire Marvel Cinematic and Comic Universe, Dr. Strange’s sequel has included some “weird stuff” associated with him.
While Scott Derrickson directed the first Dr. Strange movie, the second installment of Dr. Strange is directed by Sam Raimi. Raimi, known for his incredible work in the Spider-Man trilogy, is making a return with Marvel productions to bring life to the new Dr. Strange movie.
Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness is set to release in theaters worldwide on Friday, May 6, 2022.
