“Jewell was a very special woman with a big heart. She had been a guest at my wedding back on February 12th of this year. We shared many, many spiritual conversations. She had transformed her life from hardcore gangsta rap to faith-based gospel singer and songwriter,” Beal shared.
The manager revealed that they had been working on her comeback in the industry. However, her untimely passing stopped their plans.

Beal ended the message with an earnest tribute to Caples, recalling her as a “great friend” and a “very loving woman.”
Similarly, Reggie Wright Jr., the head of Death Row security, shared that Caples died exactly on May 6th at about 5:00 a.m.
While both Wright and Beal did not divulge Jewell Caples’ cause of death, the singer ostensibly perished at 53 due to a health problem she faced months ago.
