According to an Arkansas jury, former reality TV star Josh Duggar was found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh Duggar faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison after being found guilty of the charges. Josh has been in prison since December 9, when he was found guilty. However, Josh Duggar’s wife Anna ad his mother pleaded the judge for compassion in his child porn sentencing, arguing that he is the “kindest person I know” and comparing him to Ronald Reagan, while his mother Michelle praises his “soft heart.” Josh, according to Anna, “embodies” Ronald Reagan’s quote: “There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.”

His defense team submitted a sentencing brief last week, which included character references from his mother, Michelle, and wife, Anna.

Michelle, 55, writes to the judge that her son is ‘compassionate toward others,’ ‘a good and upbeat person,’ and ‘an organized and conscientious person,’ and that he should be reunited with his wife and family as soon as possible.’

Meanwhile, Anna, 33, writes that she is still ‘happily married to Josh, describing him as ‘the sweetest person I know and a ‘kind, supportive, and caring father to his seven children.
Duggar, rose to prominence with his parents and siblings on TLC’s “17 Kids and Counting” in 2008. The title was later changed to “19 Kids and Counting” after his mother, Michelle, added more children.
Since his father, Jim Bob, was in the Arkansas state senate from 1999 to 2002, the family has been in the spotlight. However, he failed a primary effort for the Republican Senate nomination. He’s currently campaigning for a state Senate seat in Arkansas.
