Jenni’s brother Juan was a drug addict, and his life was full of ups and downs. In February 1995, police arrested Juan for drug possession; he was just 17 years old.

Juan started drinking at 15 years old, and he became addicted. Jenni’s brother had to battle alcoholism and drug addiction at a very young age.
Again after a year, police arrested him for illegally carrying firearms, which led to two decades behind bars.

Brenda and Juan had a complicated relationship at first due to Juan’s addiction and time in prison.

Juan’s older brother, Pedro, who is a pastor by profession, dedicated kind words to a wedding, saying: “After 22 years of waiting for my sister-in-law Brenda and after so many problems and difficult situations in their marriage, they decided to get married and I have the privilege to be able to be the minister of the wedding.”
