He obtained his high school diploma from Cerritos in 2007. Later, he enrolled at Cornell University, where he worked as the minority liaison on the student assembly. He graduated with degrees in government and English from the college’s College of Arts & Sciences in 2011.
Min worked as a journalist and magazine photographer before becoming an actor. He accomplished photography jobs for The Served, inVISIBLE, and the J.A.M. Awards.
Min started performing in 2012. His early roles include cameos on the T.V. shows Pure Genius, C.S.I.: Cyber, and Faking It. In addition, he has worked with Los Angeles-based indie production company Wong Fu Productions on various projects, including the 2019 online series Dating After College and the 2017 short film How I Became an Adult.

Similarly, Min achieved his breakthrough as Ben Hargreeves in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. In season 2, he was moved from a supporting role to the main cast.
However, min was left out of the initial series press to maintain his identity as the character was only shown in flashbacks in the comic books.
Additionally, Min used her increased role in the T.V. series to create the character “from the ground up” and collaborated closely with Ethan Hwang, who played the young Ben, to achieve a “similar spirit.”
Likewise, Min also bagged the titular role in the futuristic fiction movie After Yang, starring Colin Farrell.
