In late October, Chris Lane, 37, and his 32-year-old wife, Lauren Bushnell, expect their second child. The country singer and his wife have confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively that their son Dutton will get a brother in late October.

Likewise, Lauren posted on Instagram on June 6: “Party of 4, coming October 2022.” “Dutty, I can’t wait to see you as a big brother!”
“To be quite honest, I’ve never been more astonished in my entire life,” the Bachelor alumna adds, explaining that she interrupted Lane as he put Dutton down for a nap in her rush to show him the positive pregnancy test earlier this year.
“We had hoped to have at least two children, so we’re grateful that it could happen for us, even if it weren’t on our schedule. We’re both giddy with anticipation.”
Chris and Lauren exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony in Nashville after the country music artist proposed to Lauren by performing his song “Big, Big Plans,” which he penned exclusively for his now-wife. On June 8, 2021, they welcomed Dutton into the world.
Chris gushed to E! News two weeks after his son was born, “It’s been honestly the best joy to our lives.”
Similarly, Chris shared, “the pregnancy had brought us even closer when I didn’t think that was possible. We make a great team.”
