The couple made their relationship public by collaborating on the reality star’s music video for “The Way I See You.” In a loving Instagram post that summer, Bates was enthused about working with Espensen.
Similarly, in October 2021, Us Weekly announced that the Bringing Up Bates alum was proposed in Italy. As per the source, while the two were in Italy filming the music video for their duet Crazy Love, Bates proposed, and they’ve been gushing about their romance with their wedding countdown since then.
On Thursday, May 12th, Lawson Bates married his fiancée Tiffany Espensen in a romantic ceremony in San Diego, California.
The reality TV star said his everlasting vows to his fiancée in front of hundreds of loved ones gathered aboard an expensive yacht in the bay as the sun began to set on San Diego’s magnificent Coronado Bridge Thursday.
“This day has exceeded all of my dreams,” Bates, 29, told PEOPLE. “I could never have imagined marrying someone as sweet, sincere, and enthusiastic about life as Tiffany! I’m very grateful that God chose to bring us together because she has the most wonderful heart.” Likewise, the bride, Espensen, 23, shared, “It feels like we have waited so long for this day. We feel so blessed to finally be “Mr. and Mrs.”

Tiffany said in their wedding Q&A that the honeymoon location was a surprise even to her until one week before the big day. However, the 29-year-old groom revealed the location on film by taking her to a restaurant representing the country. They both confirmed that it wasn’t in the United States.
